Hey everyone. How's it going Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. I'll show you some of the features and show you how to install an engine air filter by PTC.This is going to be the top of our filter and has this nice diamond material on top that keeps it rigid and keeps it from moving or getting misshaped. On the backside, this is a pleated filter. It is a white media particulate, and this is going to filter any air coming into our engine. more

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ,we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air filter. Over here on the left side, we have the factory filter, which has recently been replaced, but I'd figured I'd lay the factory one next to the PTC one, that way we can kind of compare the two. Now as you can see, they're extremely similar and that way you can rest assured that with the PTC, your engine is going to be able to breathe freely. What these filters are going to do is filter the outside air before it enters your engine. That's going to help keep it running strong for a long time.Now the way you would tell when these need to be changed is first, the coloration. more
